 GET YR CREEPERS ON!
BOO! The next ToD outing will be on Halloween at Killer Heels' "The Beast Within" extravaganza. Now, there was no way we were going to turn down a night put on by people calling themselves Killer Heels. That's match made in perfection in our eyes as it is. But imagine the overwhelming joy we felt when we discovered that also playing that night are the Kings of Psychobilly themselves, THE METEORS. Killer indeed. Expect gore-filled fun with grotesque burlesque performances from Voodoo Bitch Doctor and the Heartstopping Miss Fountain, plus a mental set from Vincent Razorbacks.
Tickets are £8 in advance (info: myspace.com/headoverkillerheels) or £10 on the door if not sold out, which we expect it will be.

The Times has named Buttoned Down Liveshow as one of this week's Top Five Clubs, which we happen to be headlining. They called us "charming" and we think they mean it.
Excellent culture-focussed US website iVoryTowerz has given Iron Nipples a review that literally made us weep with joy. It namechecks the White Stripes and none other than The Thin White God- er, Duke - himself, David Bowie. You can't get better than that.
Subba-Cultcha.com keeps their discerning readers abreast of the Tits of Death ethos with an extensive Q&A. As ever, we managed to slip some commentary about dwarves and pyrotechnics into the proceedings. It ain't a real interview without dwarves or pyrotechnics. The only thing that would have made it even more ace would have been a Ninja reference. Maybe next time.
Meanwhile back oop norf, Room Thirteen's Russ Meyer-referencing review is another heap o' praise.
Finally, here's one that made us go, and I quote, "WTF?" High Voltage says that Iron Nipples "lactates rock and roll spirit" and drops comparisons to Motley Crue, Husker Du and Motorhead. It's "grrrl power at its loudest." It is also a 2/5. We RULE. |

There's only a handful of the printed ones in existence, and those are in black & white, so this is a very special thing indeed. It's packed full of games to tax your brain, as well as hair care and fashion tips ToD-style.
