It's that time once again...
We are playing the next Illustrated Ape party, nearly a year to the day of our first gig (actually a year and one month to the day EXACTLY, 13 months on the 13th day of the month, wooo). We've made some startling discoveries in that 13 months, including:
1. It is not possible to wear too much makeup, or to have your hair too big.
2. There just aren't enough Lurex jumpsuits around.
3. Men like boobs. A lot.
4. So do women.
5. There isn't a proper direct translation for "You've been a bad, bad boy" in Spanish.
6. There are people out there who actually want to hear songs with crap puns involving breasts.
7. Rock and metal audiences have a keen sense of irony and humour (indie kids take note).
8. Acting like an idiot in front of several hundred people is more exhilirating that you'd think.
9. The cheaper the hairspray, the better it sticks.
10. It's all about the rock.
We're playing the Illustrated Ape party at On The Rocks in Shoreditch, That London, on July 13th. The theme is 1976, it's a quid to get in and you get a free copy of the Illustrated Ape (normally a fiver). And if that's not enough, Gobsausage and Jacques Zabbaz are playing. |
