LONDON GIG IN MAY & NEW PHOTOS!
Sunday, 13 April 2008

We'll be rocking the railing at 333 on May 9th.  That doesn't mean we'll be pole dancing!  So don't get your hopes up for that.  Just hot rock action.

If you've got a minute, go check out the new photos we put up from the Metro and 12 Bar gigs.

Don't Panic!
Wednesday, 09 April 2008

A little while back, we went out on a date with the Urban Nerd from Don't Panic Magazine. It was filmed and we thought we should show off our amazing acting talents!  Mr. Nerd took us to Bincho Yakitori at OXO Tower.  We had the best waitress ever.  Seriously.  We recommend the pork bellies.  Who knew they could taste so nice?

Check out the madness here:

100 Club - cancellation
Thursday, 27 March 2008
Unfortunately we've had to cancel our appearance at the GAIA event "It's Good To Talk" due to lack of a lead singer. We're extremely gutted to have to back out at such a late stage, especially for such a good cause. There are five other excellent bands on, so do go along:

The GAIA Initiative's campaign to highlight the issues related to Depression and Asthma has moved-on and is now being directed at the young generation.

Following-on from events of 2007, The GAIA Initiative have organised an event on Sunday 30th March: "It's Cool To Talk Tour", a series of gigs across the UK, at some of the countries most important live music venues in five major cities.

With sponsorship from Graduates: an Andrew Collinge salon, GAIA Records and support from Resurrection, Deadstar Events, Journeys and many others. Working with Journeys (formerly Depression Alliance Cymru. "http://www.dacymru.ik.com" "www.journeysonline.org.uk"), as part of The GAIA Initiative's national "Sit-down, Shut-up and Listen!" campaign to highlight the issues related to Depression and Asthma.

"The aim is to create the most effective impact possible, to get the biggest splash to wake-up those apathetic gits who think that Depression is 'just in the mind' or who think that, Asthma is 'just people being weak!'. The world famous 100 Club (in London) is the figure-head gig. It is the one, that, can knock these idiots from their cryonic torpur and help save lives."

Christopher Vranek
Director of The GAIA Initiative and CEO of Gaia Independent Arts Productions Limited

The money that is raised either goes directly back into the campaign to tell people to 'Sit -Down, Shut-Up and Listen' to people with Asthma and Depression, or will go into two projects to help GAIA set-up a film and music recording studio: where, they will conduct workshops for people who are un-represented and suffering from Depression, or who just never get the opportunity to pursue their creative tendencies in music or film, while showing how these mediums can enhance ones life, social skills and help manage the symptoms of Depression and Asthma.

MORE TITS! MORE TITS!
Friday, 18 January 2008
We've been a bit slack about updating the site as of late, but the rock hasn't stopped. We've been working on two new recordings - a 12 minute freakout called "Juggernaut" and 10 minute dancefloor filler "Hypnotits". The puns never stop round here.

We've got a few more gigs lined up for your aural pleasure:

31 Jan @ The Metro - Headlining a new night put on by the Blow Up people and rocker-about-town Max Mitchell (Club For Losers). Apparently the other bands are all-girls as well, so it's a good night for the ladies...

16 Feb @ The Enterprise for Round Our Gaff - Hide the breakables, we're supporting Dead Kids, who are absolutely mental. Friendly Fires are DJing till late at this one. It's the coolest Saturday night in Camden. FACT.

30 March @ 100 Club - charity gig, we're middle on, I think.

6 April @ The Olde Peculiar, The Mucky Pup pub, Islington - It's roast dinners and rocking out as we keep our Sabbath none more Black whilst manning the DJ decks at the best pub in Islington.

See you there?

HALLOWEEN BASH

ImageGET YR CREEPERS ON!

BOO! The next ToD outing will be on Halloween at Killer Heels' "The Beast Within" extravaganza. Now, there was no way we were going to turn down a night put on by people calling themselves Killer Heels. That's match made in perfection in our eyes as it is. But imagine the overwhelming joy we felt when we discovered that also playing that night are the Kings of Psychobilly themselves, THE METEORS. Killer indeed. Expect gore-filled fun with grotesque burlesque performances from Voodoo Bitch Doctor and the Heartstopping Miss Fountain, plus a mental set from Vincent Razorbacks.

Tickets are £8 in advance (info: myspace.com/headoverkillerheels) or £10 on the door if not sold out, which we expect it will be.

The venue is in the ultra-cool caverns at CORSICA STUDIOS. It's vampire venom-spitting distance from Elephant & Castle tube at UNIT 5, FARRELL COURT, SE17 1LB. Click here for the map.
